Period A: We went to the wood shop with Mr. Watson.
Atshaya and Michelle did some coloring of spring flowers. Mindy had a busy day.
She helped Jerron and Romi with their name plaques as well as sanding pieces of
plastic we will be using to make key fobs. Jerron and Romi worked on their name
plaques.
Period B: We had our Mindfulness Minutes. We then had a
class discussion about what we had done over the long weekend. We then went to
S-6 where we set the table for the Maplewood Mindfulness Community lunch. When
we got back to class we filled in our Weekend Journal worksheets.
Period C: We started out with a money math activity. We
used plastic money to identify the different value and types of coins. We then
went back to S-6 to wash the dishes. While we were there we had some visitors. Caitlyn
came to visit with her sister Courtney and her Mom and Dad. Caitlyn is doing
very well recovering from her surgery and hopefully will be able to come back
to school some time in May. We then came back to our classroom where we did a
money math activity using the Whiteboard.
Period D: We filled in the daily report. We had our daily
Mindfulness Mediation sitting.
Note to Parents: We will be going to the YMCA tomorrow.
Please ensure students have running shoes and gym clothes.
