Weather for Today: Partly Cloud….

Period A: We went to the wood shop with Mr. Watson. Mindy
did some colouring. She also cut out wooden letters of her name and painted them. Michelle did some cutting and pasting and
Jerron did some beading. Romi also did
some cutting and pasting and played with some battery operated Lego. Atshaya did some adding on an electronic calculator
that printed out the calculations on a receipt.
Period B: We did the calendar and weather and completed
our Weekend Journals. We shared what we
wrote with each other. We had some
unstructured time. Atshaya listened to
some music, Mindy played with Dominoes, Jerron put together a puzzle and
Michelle worked with the Pattern Blocks.
Romi wasn’t here this period because she was at an appointment.
We finished the period listening to the
story: I Just Forgot.
Period C: We did some Money Math activities using the
Smart Board. We then had a special treat.
Jennifer brought in cupcakes with bright pink icing because it was her
birthday. We all sang Happy Birthday to
Jennifer.
Period D: We sat together and wrote our Daily Report and
then we finished the day with doing our daily Mindfulness Mediation sitting.
