Period A: We went to the wood shop with Mr. Watson. Today
the whole class did an activity together. We traced out some bunny rabbits and
then cut them out of construction paper. We then colored them in and added some
stickers. When we are finished with the Easter rabbits we will put them on our
classroom door.
Period B: We started out by watching a short video on the
whiteboard. The video was about breath meditation. We then had our Mindfulness
Minutes. We went to Room S-6 to set the table for the Maplewood Mindfulness
Meditation Community lunch. We all had a chance to practice our life skill of
setting the table. Unfortunately, one of our classmates was having a bad day so
we were unable to continue with our program.
Period C: We did the daily report in this period because
we will be going to the library in Period D to do an activity with Elena and
Jacinda. When we had finished the daily report we went back to S-6 to clean up.
Everybody got the chance to wash and dry the dishes. We then returned to our
classroom for a short mindfulness meditation sitting.
Period D: We went to the library for an activity with
Jacinda and Elena. Elena read us a story called The Easter Bunny Blues.
It was a great story. We then all got to do a craft activity where we made an
Eater Egg from different materials. We got to bring our Easter Eggs home.
Note to Parents: We will be going to the YMCA tomorrow.
Please ensure students have running shoes and gym wear.
