Weather for Today: Rainy and Warm…

Period A: We went to the wood shop with Mr. Watson.
Courtney used the Shop Vac to vacuum up
some sawdust. Romi and Jerron finished their name plaques. Michelle, Mindy and
Atshaya did some coloring of spring flowers.
Period B: We started out by watching a video about
raising beef cattle. We then prepared our lunch. Courtney and Atshaya set the
table. Mindy washed the lettuce. Jerron made the fruit punch. Michelle placed
the hamburger patties on a baking sheet so Mr. Wilkens could cook them in the
oven.
Period C: We cleaned up the classroom from lunch. We all
had a chance to help with the dishes and clean the tables and counters. We then
had our dessert of Macaroons and sugar doughnuts. We then read a couple of
stories using the Whiteboard. Mr. Wilkens read the stories out loud and asked
us questions about the stories. At the end of the period we got to enjoy some
unstructured time.
Period D: We filled in the daily report. We had our daily
Mindfulness Meditation sitting.
