Weather for Today: Partly Cloudy and Cold….

Period A: We went to the wood shop with Mr. Watson.
Courtney and Michelle cleaned up using the Shop Vac. Mindy colored some
pictures of dinosaurs. Jerron did some bead work. Romi worked on a collage and
did some coloring. Atshaya did some coloring as well.
Period B: We began with our Mindfulness Minutes. We then
went upstairs to the computer lab where we worked on various educational
programs such as Starfall and Jigzone. We then came back to the classroom where
we used some worksheets to practice our printing skills.
Period C: We began by using an online program on the Whiteboard to write some stories. We wrote a Fairy Tale about a Sad Princess whose name was Sandy who was cheered up by a funny rabbit. We also wrote a Science Fiction Story about a trip to the planet Cheesapaloza. Because we are going to the Library next period
to work on an Arts and Crafts activity, we filled in the daily report. We then
got to have some free time.
Period D: We went to the library where we did an Arts And
Crafts activity where we made a flying saucer out of a paper plate. We then
came back to class and had our daily Mindfulness Mediation sitting.
