Period A: We went to the wood shop with Mr. Watson. Mindy
and Michelle helped Mr. Watson sand down a chair. Romi worked on a collage. Courtney
used the Shop Vac to vacuum up sawdust. Jerron did some beading and some
sanding. Atshaya did some coloring.
Period B: We began with our Mindfulness Minutes. We then
prepared our lunch of Chicken Burgers and French Fries. Jerron helped to prep
the fries and Chicken burgers. Atshaya washed the lettuce. Mindy and Courtney
set the table. Michelle helped to prep the buns for the burgers. When we had
finished our lunch we all went to the Karaoke Club. Romi made the Fruit Punch.
Period C: We all helped to wash the dishes and clean up
the classroom. We then went for a hall walk to make up for us missing our
weekly YMCA trip yesterday. We walked around the school halls for a mile ! (
1.6 Km. ) When we got back to class we had our dessert of Chocolate Chip
Cookies. We then listened to a couple of stories by using the Whiteboard. After
we watched/read the stories we answered questions about them.
Period D: We filled in the daily report. We had our daily
Mindfulness Mediation sitting.
