Period A: We went to the wood shop with Mr. Watson.
Courtney used the Shop Vac to clean up around the shop. Romi worked on a
collage. Atshaya, Mindy and Michelle did some coloring. Jerron did some bead
work.
Since today is a short day schedule we did not go to the
YMCA. We did get our exercise though as we walked to the local No Frills to do
the grocery shopping for tomorrow’s lunch. We bought some Chicken burgers and
French Fries.
When we got back to school it was period C so we filled
in the daily report a little early as after lunch we will be going to watch a
Staff vs. Student Basketball game. We also had time for a short sitting.
At 1:00 PM we went to the gym to watch a special event, a
basketball game that pitted the Maplewood boys BB team versus the Maplewood
staff. It was an exciting game which came right down the wire. The boys won the
game with a score of 25 to 24.
After the basketball game we got to go to a dance in the cafeteria.
It was a lot of fun.
Note to Parents: Lunch program tomorrow. Students do not
need to bring a lunch.
