Period A: We went to the wood shop with Mr. Watson.
Atshaya was using the adding machine to do some sums. Mindy and Michelle did
some coloring. Jerron did his usual bead work while Romi worked on her collages.
Period B: We began with our Mindfulness Minutes. We went
to S-6 to set the table for the Maplewood Mindfulness Community Lunch. We all
had a chance to do two place settings. When we got back to the classroom we
used the Promethean Board to help us write some stories. We wrote one about
Michelle and her visit to a faraway planet and another story about Mindy and
Jerron exploring a scary forest.
Period C: We started off doing some money math exercises
on the Promethean Board. We then went back to S-6 to clean the dishes from the
Maplewood Mindfulness Community lunch. Everybody helped out washing and drying
the dishes. When we were done we came back to class where we continued to work
on money math.
Period D: We filled in the daily report. We had our daily
Mindfulness Meditation sitting.
Note to Parents: We will not be going to the YMCA tomorrow.
