Period A: We went to the wood shop with Mr. Watson.
Courtney was cleaning her restaurant. She did some vacuuming and directed
Atshaya and Michelle while they helped out. Romi cut and pasted pictures from
magazines to make a collage. Jerron did some bead work as well as putting pegs
into a block of wood. Mindy did some painting.
Period B: We began with our Mindfulness Minutes. We sat
down and had a class discussion about what we had done over the weekend. We
then filled in our Weekend Journal worksheets. When we had finished our
worksheets we presented our journal’s to the class.
Period C: The class went to the Art Room to continue working
on our clay project. We all made lids for our coil pots. The pots and lids are
now drying out so that Mr. Wilkens can fire them in the kiln. With any luck we
should be able to glaze them next week.
Period D: We filled in the daily report. We had our daily
Mindfulness Mediation sitting.
