Period A: We went to the wood shop with Mr. Watson.
Courtney made a restaurant sign with wood. Caitlyn, Atshaya and Mindy did some
coloring. Romi, Jerron and Michelle used wooden beads to make a necklace.
Period B: We began with our Mindfulness Minutes. We went
to S-6 to where we all helped to set the table for the Maplewood Mindfulness
Community lunch. We then went back to
class where we did our weekend Journal. We filled in a worksheet about what we
did over the weekend. We then presented our work to the class.
Period C: We went back to S-6 where we all helped to wash
the dishes from the Mindfulness lunch. We went back to class where we used the Whiteboard
to do a money math exercise. We moved different value coins into a pink piggy
bank to make up different amounts of money.
Period D: We filled in the daily report. We had our daily
Mindfulness Mediation sitting.
Note to Parents: We will be going to the YMCA tomorrow.
Please ensure students have running shoes and gym clothes.
