Period A: We went to Mr. Watson’s room where we took part
in different activities. Courtney, Atshaya and Mindy used Lego to make some motorized
items. Jerron used blocks to make some shapes. Romi and Michelle worked with
plasticine to make different shapes.
Period B: We began with our Mindfulness Minutes. We then
did our Weekend Journal Activity. We filled in a journal worksheet about our
weekend activities. The students then presented their journal entries to the
class.
Period C: We went to the Art Room where we began a new
ceramic project. We will be making hand-built clay coil pots. We watched Mr.
Wilkens demonstrate how to use clay coils to build a pot. We then all worked on
our own pots. When we had finished working with the clay we cleaned up the
room.
Period D: We filled in the daily report. We had our daily
Mindfulness Mediation sitting.
