Weather for Today: Sunny and Cold….

Period A: We went to Mr. Watson’s class. Atshaya and
Mindy did some coloring. Courtney made some menu’s for her restaurant with
Atshaya’s help. Romi made a collage from pictures she cut out of magazines. Jerron
helped Mr. Watson sand some wood pieces and also some bead work. Michelle
worked with the motorized Lego.
Period B: We began with our Mindfulness Minutes. We then prepared
our lunch. Romi and Michelle set the table. Atshaya washed and dried the
lettuce. Courtney made the Fruit Punch. We all helped to prepare the Garlic
Bread. We got finished early so we used the Whiteboard to learn about the
history of pasta and watched a video about how pasta is made.
After Lunch Activity : Jerron, Mindy, Atshaya and
Courtney went to the Karaoke Club. We sang along to songs like One Love https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vdB-8eLEW8g and
Three Little Birds https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LanCLS_hIo4 by Bob Marley. (If you wish you can follow the links above to practice with your child )
Period C: When we got back to class we all helped to wash
the dishes and clean up. We then sat down to eat our dessert. This week we had
a special treat, Cupcakes that Ms. Josie bought for us yesterday. The cupcakes
were delicious ! Because we are going to a Mental Health workshop in Period D
we did our daily report next.
Period D: We went to the library for a Mental Health Workshop. Today's workshop was about Goal setting and Working Memory. We played some fum games and won some Gummy Frog's.
