Period A: We went to Mr. Watson’s room and did different
activities. Atshaya did some coloring. Romi made shapes with plastacine. Jerron
and Mindy helped Mr. Watson do some errands around the school. Caitlyn and
Courtney used Lego to make things. Michelle did some bead work.
Period B: We prepared our lunch. We had pizza and they
were very good. Michelle , Atshaya and Courtney grated the cheese. Mindy made
the juice. Caitlyn cut up the peppers. Romi helped to cut up the peppers.
Jerron helped to set the table.
Period C: We went to a Mental Health workshop in the
library. Today’s workshop was on “Emotional Regulation” which was all about controlling
our emotions, especially anger. We played a board game called “ Don’t Get Mad”
and another game where we learned about thoughts that we speak out loud and
thoughts we keep in our heads.
Period D: We went to a Valentine’s Day dance in the
cafeteria. We all had lots of fun dancing up a storm !
