Weather for Today: Sunny and Cool…

Period A: We began with our Mindfulness Minutes. We then
made some Mother’s Day cards using construction paper, pictures from magazines
and a whole lot of stickers.
Period B: We met Ms. Lupo in our classroom. We then went
to the washroom. After we had gone to the washroom we went to the Cosmetology
class. We brushed our teeth using a mirror so we could be sure of doing a good
job. We then washed our hands. Ms. Lupo then applied some hand cream to our
hands and forearms. We then did some
laundry. We washed the hand and face towels that we have been using. At
the end of the period we had a little extra time so we went for a short walk
outside.
Period C: We started out by doing some Money Math using
plastic money and the Promethean Board. We then went to S-6 to wash the dishes
from the Maplewood Mindfulness Community lunch. Here is a picture of Michelle
and Atshaya taking their turn at washing and drying…
When we had
finished the clean up in S-6 we came back to our classroom and did a little
more money math. We then went for a Community Walk.
Period D: We filled in the daily report. We had our daily
Mindfulness Mediation sitting.
Note to Parents: we will be going to the YMCA tomorrow.
Please ensure students have running shoes and gym wear.
