Weather for Today: Sunny and Cool…

Period A: Today we did the food preparation for our
lunch. Atshaya and Michelle cut up the onions for the rice pilaf. Mindy and
Jerron cut up the Red Pepper for the rice. Courtney made the fruit punch. Mindy
and Atshaya also set the table. Romi and Courtney put the pork cubes on skewers
for the Souvlaki.

Period B: We met Ms. Lupo in our classroom. We then went
to the washroom. After we had gone to the washroom we went to the Cosmetology
class. We brushed our teeth using a mirror so we could be sure of doing a good
job. We then washed our hands. Ms. Lupo then applied some hand cream to our
hands and forearms. We then did some
laundry. We washed the hand and face towels that we have been using. At
the end of the period we had a little extra time so we went for a short walk.
Period C: We cleaned up the kitchen/classroom. Everybody
had a chance to wash and dry the dishes. After we had finished the clean-up we
had our dessert of Chocolate Chip Cookies. We then used the Promethean Board to
do some patterning activities.

Period D: We filled in the daily report. We had our daily
Mindfulness Mediation sitting.
